Good Day, I'm unable to sign up for FHA Connection as they error message continues to tell me that my personal information (name and ssn) is invalid. However, since the HUD site has been updated, I'm unable to verify what information is in the system. Can you please provide support as we have been trying to complete this process since July 11th. Our contact at FHA Connection has advised us that you have not submitted your counselor certification application. This needs to be completed before you are able to request an FHA Connection user ID.
The purpose of HUDHousingCounselors.com is to help counselors prepare for the HUD Housing Counselor Certification Exam and provide access to the exam. After passing the exam and transferring the results to FHA Connection, counselor certification activities shift from HUDHousingCounselors.com to FHA Connection.
Questions regarding the application process for HUD Certified Housing Counselor certification must be submitted to housing.counseling@hud.gov with subject line “FHAC."

Certificates are available to print after the candidate's employment is verified in FHA Connection. Find instructions for printing your certificate here.
