Original Ticket Body:

Hello my name is Danielle Thompson. I'm supposed to be taking my exam right now at 10:00 AM to get hub certified but I'm unable to get into the exam site because of my authenticator. It will not accept the code that my Microsoft is giving me to put into log in. It keeps saying if they're incorrect and I've exceeded the attempt I've reached out to criterion but they are not able to do anything so please give me a call back. My phone number is 412-419-4990.

Danielle,

Please note you will be required to set up two factor authentication upon log in. Failure to do so will result in your account being locked again.

Below are two links to assist in setting up your two-factor log in. Support highly recommends downloading one of these applications on your mobile device.

I need someone to reset the two-factor authentication on my account so I can re-scan the QR code and set it up again in Microsoft Authenticator. Is that possible? I've deleted and reinstalled authenticator, but I need the QR code to add HUD Housing to the verification codes list so I can log in.

I've logged in, but it is still asking for me to put in the verification codes, without asking me to set up the authenticator.

Is there a way to get the QR code sent to me so I can add HUD Housing to the authenticator app list for verification codes?

Dear Danielle,

We have also reset the entire account. You should be able to login and try again.

Sincerely,

TheHUDHousingCounselors.hud.gov Support Team

I set up two-factor authentication, but lost access to the Microsoft Authenticator app. I've regained access, but will need the QR Code from HUD to get the verification codes used to login again.
