Ticket from James Walker - User Account

Dear James,

As per previous tickets the link sent via tickets is not a live link that you will be able to access these codes need to set up your TFA. You must download the app to your phone or your own computer. The QR code you receive will need to be scanned by your own phone and will not work if relayed from someone else's account, email, etc. Support suggests if you already have downloaded the app In the app you are able to add and account using the + sign. Please re-add or delete the previous one. Once you have done so your HUD account will have a "Reset Application" link to click on in order to generate the QR code needed or the 6-digit code.

Please note you will be required to set up two factor authentication upon log in. Failure to do so will result in your account being locked.

Below are two links to assist in setting up your two-factor log in. Support highly recommends downloading one of these applications on your mobile device.

Sincerely,

I have submitted a number of support tickets regarding my inability to set-up two-factor verification for login to my account. I do not see the Validation Plugin: TFA TOTP anywhere. Whenever I click on the Reset Application link in my email, I get the Access Denied page. My training coordinator at NACA apparently set-up two-factor validation on my account; she gets the authenticator code and communicates that to me to enable my access. I don't want to continue to rely on that workaround, though. There must be a better solution that will allow me to have independent access to my account as needed. Please advise. Thank you.
