To cancel or reschedule your exam, sign in to HUDHousingCounselors.hud.gov and select Change Your Test Date in the Countdown to your Exam! section of your User Profile Dashboard

Follow the steps to reschedule or cancel your scheduled exam (canceled exams will be refunded to the credit card used), then follow the steps to schedule a new exam.

I am attempting to set up my account using my email account gjohnhurley@gmail.com. I then changed my password. The system sent me a verification email. However, when I then go to sign into the system, it will not let me. It gives the error message either my username or password is incorrect. Also, when I first attempted to set up my account using my work email, the system said the username was taken. Then I tried my personal Yahoo email and again I received the message the username had already been taken.

To complete your account creation on HUDHousingCounselors.hud.gov, you will receive an email to verify your email address. If you do not receive a verification email within several minutes of creating your account, check your Spam or Junk folders to make sure the email was not misdirected.
