The HUD Housing Counselor Certification Exam is available in English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese. Candidates with limited English proficiency, limited Korean proficiency, limited Simplified Chinese proficiency, limited Spanish proficiency and limited Vietnamese proficiency may request additional exam time.
Please complete the Limited Language Proficiency Accommodations Request Form to request additional exam time due to limited English, limited Korean, limited Simplified Chinese, limited Spanish and limited Vietnamese proficiency. Additional time is limited to one additional hour for a total of 3 hours.
I have a few students whose first language is not English. If they request a reasonable accommodation based on their language proficiency, will they still receive a exam in English?
