The HUD Housing Counselor Certification Exam is available in English and Spanish. Candidates with limited proficiency in English and Spanish may request additional exam time. Please review the infomation below, complete the fields, then select the Submit button.

Important Information About the Request Process

  • If English or Spanish is your primary language, you are not eligible for a language accommodation because the exam is available in English and Spanish.

  • Please DO NOT register for the exam until your request has been approved.
  • Requests must be made at least 5 days before you plan to take the exam.
