Ticket from Susan Moore - Proctoring/Kryterion

Good afternoon,

I took the Certified Housing Counselors examine on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at approximately 1:30 p.m.

I have been ill and away from my office since that date and I am just returning to work on today. I must report that I was extremely disappointment with the logistics assigned for this test.

During the examination, I had to stop and locate a staff member to help me. The calculated that you provided on the screen was not working. After locating a staff member she moved me from one system to another but I lost time and concentration. The process of moving me from one system to another system really affected the focus of the test. The staff member was able to speak with the proctor and he/she gave me an extra 10 minutes on my timer but the concentration had already been affected.

In addition, when she moved my seat the calculator on the second machine was also had some malfunctioning. At that point, I gave up. This was a certification test and it was not fair that this had occurred.

You had us to read the written instructions on the computer for the test but there was one or no written information in regards to the use of your calculators.

This must be reported to HUD because it is not fair that I had pay $100.00 and go through that situation.
I feel that my agency be reinburse.

Please forward the contact person that I should write regarding this matter. This can not be repeated and it must be reported to HUD.
