This isn't an issue with accessing content and modules, but more of a question/concern about the programs the HUD housing counselor training modules' content. After having passed the HUD Exam and assessing programs for clients, I feel misled about the programs that this training would lead me to recommend to clients. For example, in loss mitigation, counselors are given the option of suggesting FHA-HAMP to clients, even though the option has been suspended for several years. Additionally, the training modules do not mention anything about COVID-19 related policies that were put into effect that counselors need to know, or about ongoing CARES Act programs that are still in effect through April 2025. After passing my exam, I now feel like I need to unlearn/relearn many of the materials that I spent the last month learning, as it seems that some of the suggested learnings from HUD's training modules are out of date and I don't know where I need to start to figure out what from the modules is still in effect or currently suggested.
