I would like to schedule to take the HUD Housing Counselor Exam in person at the Florida Gulf Coast University Kryterion testing location. I am a California resident in Florida attending to a family medical emergency. The HUD Counselors site is not allowing me to change my state location in order to schedule the exam. What can be done?

Dear Ayodele,
Individuals planning to take the certification examination at a proctoring center can utilize the tool to Locate a Kryterion Testing Center. Candidates can view appointment availability and schedule the exam via the Registration Process. Test centers cannot schedule your exam. Once you log into Kryterion the schedule simply click the drop-down box and change the state from California to Florida and click Search to generate test centers in Florida.
The exam will be available both in person and online throughout the US and in US Territories where there are proctoring centers, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. The exam will be available online only in the Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa, as there are no proctoring centers in these areas.
