Dear Diana,
Please be advised that the authenticator code will not generate or be sent via phone, text message or email. You must download one of the authenticator apps listed below. Once you have done so you will log into your HUD account and when prompt you will click on Set up Application this will generate a QR code that can be scanned with a cellphone will generate the 6-digit code.
Below are two links to assist in setting up your two-factor log in. Support highly recommends downloading one of these applications on your mobile device.
