Dear James,

Once you have downloaded the authenticator app you should have a note on your HUD account as follows:

TFA application

Validation Plugin: TFA TOTP

Generate verification codes from a mobile or desktop application.

  • Set up application***** this is where you click to scan the QR code and or will give you a 6-digit code.

Support also suggests clearing out your browsers or any open windows.

Hi, my name is James Walker. That's James Walker. I have submitted A helpdesk ticket because I'm having trouble with two factor verification when logging into to your site. I actually have a counselor exam scheduled for tomorrow at 11 AM, so this is a pretty urgent matter. When I attempt to log in, the screen tells me that there's two factor authentication in place, but I don't get any information that either of the authentication apps, the Microsoft Authenticator app or the Google Authenticator app on my phone. So I'm at a loss Be great if I can get a helpful response from you guys before my exam in the morning. My number is 216-682-6508. Thank you.
