Dear Dean,

The link submitted for purposes of training/example where you would click to generate the QR code or the 6-digit code. It is not a live link you must click on the link on your actual HUD page. Please be aware if we disable your TFA you may run into the same issue while testing or before testing.

To access the exam registration, you must be signed into your account on HUDHousingCounselors.hud.gov.

Select Begin Exam Registration in the Countdown to your Exam! section of your User Profile Dashboard. Follow the steps to register for the exam and complete the form at the bottom of the page.

If you are attempting to register using your mobile phone or tablet, you may not be able to complete your transaction. Please use a computer to register.

Thank you for this e-mail. I used the link and attempted to reset and it just takes me to the login page for the testing site. I have downloaded google authenticator and made sure my work e-mail address is linked to it on my phone. I am getting all kinds of codes to verify my identity from other places. Just not the testing site. Everything was working fine on Friday, as for as my being able to purchase and take the exam goes. I was getting codes from the website to my phone just fine. Is there a way for the TFA to be disabled for a day so that I can buy and take the test??? I have to get this done today or tomorrow..
