Desde hace unos meses no estoy en agencia de consejeria pero quiero mantener mi certificacon para otro posible empleo. Puedo tomar el examen?

I have tried several times trying to create an account...the problem is when I get to the part for password...I create one and the message stated this is a one time login. It does not give me a place to save my password. what am I doing wrong?

There is no limit on how many times you can take the exam. However, the registration system does limit the number of times a candidate can register for the exam. 

If you receive a notice about maximum attempts, please call Support at 800-448-7149. Support will manually unlock the registration system while on the phone with you allowing you to register. Please do not call Support for assistance until you are ready to complete registration and pay for the exam. 

Individuals planning to take the certification examination at a proctoring center can utilize the tool to Locate a Kryterion Testing Center. Candidates can view appointment availability and schedule the exam via the Registration Process. Test centers cannot schedule your exam.

Certification Requirement

Housing counseling required under or provided in connection with HUD programs must be provided only by certified housing counselors who work for organizations approved to participate in HUD’s Housing Counseling Program. In order to be certified, an individual must both pass a standardized written examination covering six major topic areas, and work for an agency approved to participate in HUD’s housing counseling program.
