To access the exam registration, you must be signed into your account on HUDHousingCounselors.hud.gov.

Select Begin Exam Registration in the Countdown to your Exam! section of your User Profile Dashboard. Follow the steps to register for the exam.

Upon completion of the certification exam, each candidate receives an immediate PASS or FAIL notification, as applicable. Candidates who pass receive an email outlining next steps. Those who fail receive an email report with information as described in the practice exam feedback explanation.

Is the practice exam suppose to give you a score? If all the modules are listed to review does that mean I failed the practice exam?
I have reviewed the modules and retaken the practice exam and it still gives me all the modules to review.

Hello! I recently passed the exam. Is it possible to open a non-profit and begin counseling services right away? Is there a requirement that one must work for an existing counseling agency first? If so, is it possible to have that requirement waived? I believe I already have a rich background in housing related experience. Please consider the following:
