When the Sign Up page asks for a state, I live and work in NC but the company is in Florida. Which do they want?

Questions regarding the application process for HUD Certified Housing Counselor certification must be submitted to housing.counseling@hud.gov with subject line “FHAC."

Hello, I took and failed the exam. I would like to re take it. I will need the same accommodations as when I took it on the 25th of July 2019. How do I go about scheduling my re-take? Is the timeline still 3 months? Or is it faster for the re-take?

For your account on HUDHousingCounselors.hud.gov, the “username” is the email address used to register for the account. If you receive an error while signing in, make sure:

I completed the HUD Housing Counseling Certification exam in November 2018 and have since taken a position with another agency. How can I access my certificate or obtain proof of completion?

I took the HUD certification exam on 7/25/19 and did not pass. Can I retake it for free or for a partial fee?

Hello heres my second ticket number I have already spoken with the Kryterion people and they keep referring me to you guys I have been trying to get this issue looked into for the last 5 days.

I have talked to you guys and you referred me to them and now they referred me back to HUD. I studied so hard for this test and to see that the screen froze and there is nothing I could do is really frustrating. I am hoping to get a chance to retake the test for free because of this issue.
