If you have passed the exam, your next step is to authorize the transfer of your passing test results to FHA Connection. To do this, sign in to your account on HUDHousingCounselors.hud.gov and select “Exam Center” from the top navigation. Then, select “Transfer Results to FHA Connection.” If you are already signed in, you can directly access the Transfer Results page.

I have attempted to create an account. I never got to the part asking me to create a password. I submitted what I have, was told to check email for pw, but I never received an email. I further attempted to create a new account, msg. said that an acct. was already established. Please advise as I am interested in the training and perhaps doing it on line.

I am trying to change my password however unable to open the link that will take my to get access to the temporary password.

Eligibility – In order to be certified, an individual must both pass a standardized written examination covering six major topic areas and work for an agency approved to participate in HUD’s housing counseling program. In other words, you can take the certification exam without being employed at a HUD-approved agency; however, to become certified you must pass the exam and work for a HUD-approved agency.
