Dear HUD Housing Counseling Support Team,

My name is Rachelle Prouse. I was scheduled to take the HUD Housing Counselor Certification Exam today, May 13, 2025, at 2:30 PM Central Time. Unfortunately, I was unable to access the exam at the scheduled time.

I am seeking guidance on the next steps to resolve this issue and reschedule my exam. Please advise on how to proceed.

I have been hospitalized since 5/12/25 and am scheduled to take my exam on Friday, 5/16/25. I contacted Kyrterion yesterday (5/14/25) to reschedule my exam; after messaging via chat it was discovered that they were unable to make the necessary changes; I was told to contact HUD. When I was able to access my login password to the HUD exchange, I was asked to give a 6 digit code. I do not know what or where to find the 6 digit authentication code. I just need to reschedule my exam. Please advise.

I would like to schedule to take the HUD Housing Counselor Exam in person at the Florida Gulf Coast University Kryterion testing location. I am a California resident in Florida attending to a family medical emergency. The HUD Counselors site is not allowing me to change my state location in order to schedule the exam. What can be done?

I have both the Microsoft and Google Authenticator apps. Neither will let me add my HUD account without a QR code. I cannot access my account without the two step verification and the link you sent about just clicking the + icon and adding my hud account doesn't work. It keeps asking for a code or QR code.

Hi, I'm extremely frustrated. You could please call me back right away. Aaron Rappaport 312-208-2650 again. Aaron Rappaport 312-208-2650 It's Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, first thing in Chicago. I'm scheduled to take the exam and I can't access my account. So once I finish the exam and I want to look at the score, unless I pass, which I probably will but if I don't I won't be able to get into my account to check my score. Please advise today I hope.

I was an Approved HUD Housing Counselor, and I believe my current status is Inactive. I sent an email asking to obtain my Original ID # which would reference me in system Was Emailed the following response, I Tried system is not acknowledging me (From: SFADMIN Sent: Wednesday, May 14, 2025 4:22 PM To: Campbell, Kerrey [DCA] Subject: [EXTERNAL] Re: Encrypt: *Password Reset and User ID Request * The password for user id MDKV80 has been successfully reset. It is now the last six digits of the users Social Security Number.
